Joshua Brown joined Pinkerton Financial as a Financial Paraplanner as part of the firm’s next generation of leadership. Working alongside Bill and the rest of the team, Joshua supports clients with their day-to-day financial needs, helps prepare for client meetings, and works behind the scenes to develop thoughtful, personalized financial solutions.
Joshua’s approach to financial planning is rooted in a simple belief: having a strong financial plan and a positive relationship with your finances can lead to greater confidence and better outcomes in life. He enjoys getting to know clients and their families, understanding their values and goals, and helping turn complex financial decisions into a plan that feels clear and manageable.
Before joining Pinkerton Financial, Joshua worked in media liability insurance, where he developed extensive experience evaluating risk, navigating complex situations, and communicating difficult concepts in a way that gave clients and business partners confidence. He brings that same approach to financial planning, identifying potential risks, finding practical solutions, and helping clients keep moving toward their goals.
Joshua was born and raised in Georgia and attended Georgia College & State University. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and tennis, and following Georgia football and Atlanta Braves baseball.
